Marketing Communications Coordinator (Field Sales Support)(KCI)
SUMMARY:
Provides administrative support for the company's Field Sales team, which provides sales support for retail channels that sell Kyocera mobile phones. Responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of marketing communications projects in the areas of packaging, literature, and training materials, advertising and promotional programs, public relations and trade shows, including internet-based communications. Coordinates customer activities and promotional events with responsibility for planning, budgeting, and staffing to ensure that the company's market message is received by the target audience/customers. Position will require occasional travel to attend events that are held in various target customer markets.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing or related area, or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years related experience
- Knowledge of company products, company functions, and marketing practices
- Excellent (written and verbal) communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential
- Must have strong project management skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews Field Support reports and other data resources (e.g., retail summaries) to analyze productivity and sales/revenue trends by territory based on Field Support reports to determine departmental strategies
- Prepare Telesales Activity Reports
- Develop and manage the consolidated Field Sales Activity Calendar
- Partner with Marketing to develop premiums and product deliverables in accordance with each territory's marketing plan
- Participates in the development of plans for product promotions in support of marketing objectives
- Follow internal company processes for expense and activity approval
- Establishes and manages schedules for product promotions to ensure materials are ready on time and provide status updates
- Manage and oversee customer contests
- Ensures all service territory and activity is assigned to optimize performance against established service goals and objectives
- Coordinates and prepares departmental communications to increase awareness of Field Sales team efforts both within the team and externally to the organization
- Writes creative briefs to kick off new product directions
- Communicates with internal and external groups to ensure accuracy in promotional materials
- Coordinates promotional reviews internally and externally with creative agencies and printers
- Interfaces with sales and carrier customers to ensure receipt of promotional materials and product samples. Develop and manage the Seed Stock Program.
- Process expense reports
- Assists field service in tracking and maintaining quality and productivity measures
- Works closely with approved vendors
