"I have been using the KPC650 since February of this year. It been used in many environments and logged 2 to 3 times what the normal PC is online. It is very reliable and I am very pleased with it. Good product. I am planning on purchasing other Kyocera products in the very near future. Keep up the good work."

"It's great for websurfing whenever you want. I've taken it to West Memphis, Arkansas and throughout areas in the Baltimore/DC area. Sometimes I can get downloads of about 110kps while my DSL service at home rated at 180kps, if that's the right term. Downloads of standard 56k modems were around 4*point*4kps. This puppy works in a pinch. While there also have been times that I have gone to a known cable modem hotspot to transmit photos and the wireless service is down, I can yank the card out and still roll. Great for those who need net access immediately. Design knocks off one tick because the little antenna doesn't seem to add any boost, and also is an awkward piece of plastic, just begging to be broken off. I also hope that people are buying external antennas of 3 to 12db's of boost. Yup, sometimes it needs a kick in the pants, because it can make the network stall, you know. Doesn't need batteries, so why knock off any points? It works. The added software, which works with my Powerbook G4, is a cinch and it works flawlessly. Yes, these [PC Cards] are Macintosh compatible, for OSX and apparently not for OS9. We purchased a bunch of them for the shooters on our staff."

"The KPC650 is great. I live in Florida and take my notebook out on the boat. The speed is avg. 1,100,000 bits per second with Alltel in Venice/Sarasota waters. My clients use my notebook all the time. I even loan it my clients. "

"Fast! I have offically canceled my Hot Spots subscription. This feels like the 3G service I've been reading and hearing about for the past few years. Turning compression off is a must!!"

"The KPC650 is fast, even with a low signal. I have found that it works best with compression off. I use a cisco vpn client and it works no problem. I am considering the external antenna for an extra boost in remote areas."
